When you're running good you are not necessary thinking about BR management. Beginning of the month I was playing mostly NL400 but was shooting pretty often NL600 and sometimes NL1000 with good table selection.
Obviously I'm not running good anymore and had to get some BR management rules. Here is my plan.
NL200 : mini 50 BIs (10K$) / NL100 drop if < 25 BIs (hope I will never get there)
NL400 : mini 50 BIs (20K$) / NL200 drop if < 25 BIs (<12K$)
NL600 : mini 50 BIs (30K$) / NL400 drop if < 30 BIs (<18K$)
NL1000 : mini 80 BIs (80K$) / NL600 drop if < 40 BIs (<40K$)
Therefore I should be grinding a lot of time before getting to the 5/10 games taking in consideration that I will cash out monthly but I think I can make it before end of the year if I continue working on my game.
I'll cash out 5K$ monthly mini so this will have some impact on the levels I'll play month to month. Regarding cash out rules I'm still thinking about it but I think this will be close to 50% of my monthly winnings (with always 5K$ mini). This rule should considerably slow down my progression to the higher limits but by the end of the year poker will be my only source of income so I have to get used to such rules if I want to continue offering a decent live to my family :) Speaking about family, I will make a special post this week as many people are very suspicious about a poker pro live with a family.
Hey, you won't believe it : I had a winning session today !!! (even if I started bad)
