Still going up

Still running pretty good since my last post. Actually today was my 7th consecutive winning day.
Didn't get any really big day, but I can't complain with the way things are going since 1 week.

Remains 4 "playable" day before the end of the month. Hope I can get few hundreds $ more. Actually I would be glad to finish the month today (almost +2K$ and +1.5K$ of RB) but I don't see myself not playing poker 4 days :)

Thought my opponent was tighter than that. I missplayed this hand. I think (if I wanted to bluff) I should have reraised the turn to represent an overpair. I could have also folded on the flop...

Big pot against a regular. He's very agressive with 23/20 stats for 1K hands we played together. so his range to reraise me is pretty large. I would say 99+, AJ+
When I call his reraise, I know that I will go all the way with my hand exept if any A appears on the flop.

Why ?

1. I think I'm not able to 8-tabling for the moment. I'm really more focused on the player when I 6-tabling.
2. I got some nice set-up
3. Didn't get any bad beat since 4k hands (really help winrate and confidence)

Bad luck (or bad play?) from my opponent who slowplayed his TPTK all the way. Thought he was floating or drawing the flush on the flop and fired a 2nd barrel on the turn thinking he was going to give-up. River's giving the perfect card.

Very weird line here. When he checks the river, I'm pretty sure to be ahead, so I make value bet to be paid by hands like Ax. When he reraised he offered good odds and I could not folds my hand... fortunately :)

Tilting again...

Well, I started writting this blog to help me not tilting and playing better. For the moment it doesn't work...Have lost something like 6 BIs when I played last saturday and haven't played since that day.
Will certainly play few hours tonight. I will 4-tabling to try to recover my "A-game"

Road to 100K

Like many people, I'll start to write about my poker adventures on a blog. Main goal is : D-I-S-C-I-P-L-I-N-E. As all poker players, i obviously have up and down in my games, but I'm sure that this blog will make me think a lot more about my game, what is necessary to improve.
Bankroll is at the moment 8K$ high and I'm playing NL200 game (8-tabling). I'd like to reach 100K$... by end 2008 even if I plan to cash out about 1K$ every month.


Why make cash-out that will slowdown my bankroll progression ? I want to profit (and that my little family proit as well) of my poker earnings in case I unfortunately run to bankrupt
